Introduction

Well the story is about this girl and her father move into this new place during summer. Her father is a priest and he took care of her because her mother left her and her father. She was kind of sand for moving cause she missed her friends and playing softball with them, since she was the pitcher she asked herself who was going to be the new pitcher now. After that she went inside and saw went to her room and dad’s room to go tell him that she was home but no one was there. Then she saw a note in the kitchen and it said to go to the store Winn-Dixie and go buy him something for him. So she went in her bike then was grabbing the stuff her father told her to buy, until she saw some people chasing after something and screaming. So she just ignored it until she saw this worker casing after something again and she payed attention to see what it was ad it was a dog. Then the dog was so happy that he jumped owner from the sore Winn-Dixie that the owner fell and the dog started licking his face. Then the owner was so scared and mad and told one of the workers to call the to take the dog, but the girl felt bad and said that the dog was hers to not call them and that she was sorry about the dog he just wanted to thank him from all the fun and them she said huh but she didn’t know what name to call it until she saw the name of the store and named it Winn-Dixie.
. At that moment she knew she had done something really dumb but at the time she felt proud. She said sorry to the owner then went to go pay for what she bought then left. Then when she got home her father was there already and she tried convincing hi if they could keep the dog at least until they found the owner, but he kept on saying no until she started begging him he said yes, but until they found its owner. So she was so happy she even cleaning the dog. The next day though the girl and she father made posters about lost dog if they found the owner to call that number that it said in the paper. The girl after she put the posters up that same day, their neighbor that same day said he wants no dogs, but the fathers from the girl said he was just looking for its owner then the dog was going to leave. That same night there was a huge storm that Winn-Dixie was all panicking and barking and throwing everything. The girl’s father   was telling his daughter to not be scared he was scared of storms. Then the next day the father had to go to church since he was the priest and his daughter was with him. They tide Winn-Dixie up with a rope outside but he just couldn’t stop barking, so they had to take Winn-Dixie with them. He had to be outside the church. Then while everyone was in church also the dog was barking and barking a lot. Then, when the people form church and the priest started singing the dog Winn-Dixie started barking singing to. Almost everyone started laugh. Then when church finished what the girl almost always did was go bike riding and she actually made a lot of friends because of Winn-Dixie. Since Winn-Dixie entered everywhere without permission the girl had to go and say sorry but from there she had to talk to the people and make friends. One of the friends she made was this lady that lived like in a lonely place that these two twins were scared of, But the girl had to enter her property to get Winn-Dixie back with her as soon as she entered the lady was kind of blind so she was asking who was there until she touched the girls arm and the girl said don't eat me please and the lady was like "eat you?" and started laughing. After that she found Winn-Dixie cause he came up to her and then they both started talking after that. The girl became really good friends with her that she got to trust her a lot. She even told her, her life and stuff and so did the lady. After that the girl wanted  for the lady to have friends so she decided  to have a party and invite everyone she knew so far. So she did she invited everyone even the twins. That day when they had the party everyone went except her father, but still so before they were going to start eating they prayed, but it started to rain a lot and it seem like a storm was coming so they all went inside and took all the food inside to. When they were done putting all the food inside everyone started laughing all happy until the girl was looking for Winn-Dixie and she couldn't find him. So she went all looking for him outside and she couldn't find him and she remembered that Winn-Dixie was scared of storms and he always went running around. What she did was go looking for him everywhere even her house and then she started crying in front of her father because first of all he didn't go to the party and second of all cause Winn-Dixie was missing. But her dad was nice enough to go looking for Winn-Dixie with her. Both f them looked everywhere all over the town until her father gave up. And the girl got mad she was telling her father that he always gave up so fast and easily, but her and her father started talking then after that they both went to the party. When they got there everyone there in the party asked if she had found Winn-Dixie and she answered sadly that she didn't. Then everyone just put there heads down. Then like later Winn-Dixie came out of the room and everyone was happy, and started singing.
